About
Filmmaker, photographer, developer.
I'm Mohammad Al Rez — everyone calls me Rice.
I picked up a camera in Beirut and never really put it down. What pulls me is what people walk past — a balcony, a rusted shop sign, a face at the wrong hour of the day. I'm not after the shot that looks good today; I'm after the one that still means something in ten years.
Shot by Rice
Shot by Rice is my own work — documentary photography on Lebanese identity, architecture and the street. I've shot the south, old Beirut buildings, people in their own places, unposed. I chase it because this country is changing faster than anyone is recording it.
@shot_by_rice ↗Rise by Rice
Rise by Rice is the client side — content and video for brands that need to look like they belong in 2026. Sony A7 IV, full audio kit, I shoot and edit end to end, so nothing gets lost between two people. What you actually get is a decision before the camera comes out: what this video is for, who it’s talking to, what it should make them do.
@risebyrice ↗I also study Computer Science at Antonine University and build for the web — see the software side.
